So my buddy just picked up a 2015 Double Cab 5-Lug truck. The plan is to throw some 235/75R15's on the stock steelies. But with the Double Cabs you get that fender flare like 6-lug trucks, so I was thinking a set of wheel spacers would really balance out the appearance of his Taco. A quick TW search didnt bring up much.

I know the Jeep 5x4.5 spacers for XJ, YJ, TJ, ZJ, KJ and KK Heeps is a different hub diameter. So that rules out Rugged Ridge, G2, and Spidertrax I think. And I think Jeeps are like 2.8" hub and 5-Lug Tacos are listed at 60mm or about 2.36". Anyone know for sure the Taco size?

1.) Is there a hub centric 5x4.5 wheel spacer on the market for Toyotas?
2.) If not are there issues with the studs and lug nuts on non-hub centric spacers I need to look for?
3.) Does anyone have a Double Cab or Access/Reg Cab with some fender flares and wheel spacers? And what size spacer are you running?

The only hub centric spacer I can find is from Eibach for Lexi'
    Eibach from Summit

    And then there is non-hubcentric:
    Cal Customs from Summit

Then idk about Trail Gear Jeep spacers, they are non-hubcentric on the wheel side but look real small bore through for the truck side.
    trail-gear.com

It would be nice to get a list going of what wheel spacers work on Toyota wheels and what spacer fit on the truck, but definitely need a Jeep wheel or aftermarket wheel.

    Found this on CustomTacos

2WD 5-lug Tacoma wheels have the following basic parameters:
    Bolt pattern / bolt circle / PCD:5 X 114.3(mm) = 5 X 4.5"
    Lug Nut Thread Format: M12 (12 mm) X 1.5
    Centerbore:
    1995.5 - 2004: 67.1 mm
    2005 - ???? : 60.1 mm

Hmm, I keep seeing this debate of the 60mm vs 67mm on the 2005 and later 5-lug trucks. I think I'll get some caliper on the hub next chance I get. Will post up when I do.

Further to the Jeep spacers, specifically the Spidertrax product - would you be ok, if you were running jeep wheels which do have that bore size?

I was eyeballing these at one point, prior to my lift going on - but i am running only LT225/70R16's on aftermarket rims that came off a Liberty.. so not necessary at this time, but if i were to go up to 265's in a moment of lunacy, and widen the track a bit...

Just brought this up for the sake of discussion.

Anybody have a current link for spacers that work with stock wheels? Thanks!

I picked up 2 pairs of these:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7I36X8?redirect=true
I didn't realize until trying to install, the front spacers will spin when tightening without somebody pressing on the brake! Haha I didn't have anyone to help me so I improvised. The lug length on the spacer was about 1/2 longer than what's on the hub but the stock lug nuts seem to be working. (Any thoughts?)
One new thing I'm noticing is a steering wheel vibration from 60-65 mph. I did torque both the spacer and the wheel to about 80 ft/lb. What do you guys think?image.jpg image.jpg image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

As always, be cautious of quick wear on the bearings, spindle snouts and of course brake pad wear as the extended width puts extra load on factory designed hardware.

Perhaps the adaptive solution to mount the Spidertrax et-al spacers, that are meant for the 73.1mm hub of the Jeeps - or alternatively to use the spacers that FlightMedic178 used that are meant for the Tacoma 60.1mm hub, adapting for Jeep rims?

I am going to look at picking up a set of the hub-rings for use on my aftermarket wheels, regardless.. since the last wheel-set remove/remount by the shop in the course of my upgrade, i too have also developed a bit of a vibration in that speed range, which tells me that one of the rims are possibly not centered as well they should be, on the spindle/60.1mm bore assembly, which is obviously undersized for the 73.1mm bore sized aftermarket rims that i'm using.

Oh man that looks so good!
We never got around to ordering wheel spacers, but that's exactly the look I was hoping for.

My 6-lug wobbles like hell, but its got chunked up unbalanced tires and probably needs all kinds of new bushings and ball joints in the front end.

I have 235/75R15 on my truck with Pro Comp 31's with no spacers whatsoever. The wheels are a -19mm offset with a 3.75inch backspacing which sticks out the wheels significantly out of the wheel well. I have a single cab with Bushwacker fender flares which are an inch and a half wider than the stock flares and my wheels still stick maybe a couple mm's out of the wheel well/flares. The good thing about these wheels is that it fits and clears the calipers without the need of spacers or a grounded down caliper. However, you're going to need hub centric rings if you want to make the wheels "hub centric." You don't need to buy these rings, but I got them anyways to avoid the unnecessary vibrations. I avoid spacers because all I hear are negative things about them, but that is just my own opinion. Here's a pic of the wheels and how much they stick out my flares. It's a very minuscule difference, but it still sticks out a little:

I have Mickey Thompson classic 3's with BFG ko's 235/75/r15. I only needed a 1/4 spacer and extended lug nuts but I use my original bolts which I believe is way safer and less hassle when it come to vibration (which I have none).

These appear to be the Droids that you are looking for. I've seen others use these "Lexus" advertised spacers before in our Tacomas.

I have a 2015 5 lug acces cab that I just put tires on. I measured the center hub with digital caliber for hub centric wheel spacers and mine measures 60 mm.
