Alright, So here's my summary install of four Bilstein 5100's Set at 0 with OME 885's and Rear Toytec AAL 1.5- 2inch on my Third Gen MACO.

    Difference ?

FRONT STOCK HEIGHT (Hub to Fender) : 21inches
REAR STOCK HEIGHT (Hub to Fender) : 22inches

    After Lift (No settling period)

    FRONT: 23.25inches
    REAR: 24inches

Added a Driver side 1/4inch spacer consideration for TACO LEAN

    Total cost?
    $245 - Bilstein 5100's front+rear
$141.84 - Old Man Emu 2885 Coil Spring
    $27.99 - Driver side aluminum 1/4 spacer
    $84.99 - Rear ToyTec add a leaf 1 1/2 to 2" lift
$0 - Install - do it yourself people. find someone to help if you don't have tools. Buy them a beer! Find youtubes installs, find sticky installs here to help!

    Total $500 rounding up.

Piece of mind by not doing spacer lifts and doing lifts the right way? = Priceless.

The difference is minute (mahy-noot) I feel it being a little stiffer in front but speed bumps feel smaller now HAHA rear is the same to me. I went through this dirt construction area and it feels the same as stock off road haven't done anything heavy for now.

yeah feels and looks like stock rake to me. I first installed the front and had a major bro nose high lean, and the next day did the rear. but i kinda like the rake for freeway driving and carrying loads.

you have to be rigorous when searching, try Jet.com and use a promo discount code. i don't know if its still available but it came in handy for both 5100's and OME885's.

If anything i recommend headstrong, its pre bundled already. Nice people and they do good honest business

Thank you for the great write-up. Any problems with getting it aligned? No need to drop the diff?

By the way for tire suggestions I am really liking the Cooper AT3's I had installed.

Here are a couple of pics of the AT3's. These are P265/70/r17 and are about one inch taller than stock. They are very quiet and handle better than the stock firestones in my opinion. If I lifted my Tacoma by 2" like yours, I would seriously consider P285's. I have no rubbing at all with the 265's stock.

I have seen a 3rd gen On the forums with 887s but I can't find it now! I am leaning towards the 887s but waiting for reviews and opinions.
