Im sure Ive simply overlooked this in the manual, but I cant seem to find it here or there. Im tired of double clicking the remote all the time to throw my gym bag in the back or load my daughter.

Is there a way to get all 4 doors in the DC to unlock with one click?

its a tough life...imagine the old days when they had to put a key in the door to unlock 1 door

I think this is what you are looking for, but I'm not sure if it will only work for 2 door (with locks) trucks.
But you can give it a try.

Here is the link I found it on: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/4838-cheap-free-mods-7.html#post58989

    Quote:
The vehicle should meet the following conditions before proceeding; *The key is NOT in the ignition *Driver’s door is OPEN (The others are CLOSED) *Drivers door UNLOCKED (Not necessary for Echo)
    1) INSERT and REMOVE the key from the ignition cylinder, TWICE within 5 seconds
    2) CLOSE and OPEN the driver’s door TWICE within 40 seconds
    3) INSERT and REMOVE the key into the ignition cylinder
    4) CLOSE and OPEN the driver’s door TWICE within 40 seconds
    5) INSERT the key in the ignition and CLOSE the driver’s door
    6) Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON and back to LOCK at approx. 1 sec. Intervals “ 2” times to enter REWRITE MODE
    7) REMOVE the key from the ignition (The door locks are cycled LOCK-UNLOCK within 3 seconds TWICE to let you know that you have selected REWRITE MODE)
    8) Within 40 seconds press BOTH the LOCK & UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1 second (Press and release).
    9) Within 3 seconds press and release the LOCK button on the same transmitter (The door locks will cycle ONCE if the transmitter was recognized and TWICE if it was not recognized {if you get two cycles start over}).
    10) Within 40 seconds repeat step 8 and 9 with any other transmitters you wish to program
    11) One of the following will END the Rewrite mode; *40 seconds elapses *Drivers door is opened *Key inserted into the ignition cylinder *4 transmitters are registered

    Cheers.

edit: apparantly in step 9 if you push unlock instead of lock, you can unlock all doors with one button push. anyone want to try it? I don't want my neighbors thinking I'm on acid aga

I found it easier to get my compustar starter installed by the dealer.
now i can remote start my truck and when i unlock it , all four door unlock at once.

I tried it and a females voice came over the speakers and said self destruct armed, well needless to say I opened the door and all was well. I think I made a mistake somewhere.

I just tried pressing 'Unlock' in step 9 instead of 'Lock' with no luck of programming the truck's passenger door to unlock on one click of Unlock on the remote. I hope someone finds a way to program this.. I work out of my truck 8-10 hours/day 6 days a week and would have probably saved myself around 50 hours of my life the last 7 years not having to walk around to press unlock on the driver's side door unlock button. C'mon Toyota, I know there has to be a way to bypass this w/o 'upgrading' to an aftermarket alarm..
    Any help is appreciated.
