@jeff_taco_4x4 I think I am going to go this route. Did you tell them to just paint it black? Or did they ask for glossy/flat?

Is the lettering from CCG? Yours lettering looks bigger than some other ones... Which looks much better if you ask me.

He recommended a semi flat black to make it look "hidden". They mix and make their own paint at the shop. I'm impressed with the quality so far. NO signs of scratches/peeling after several car watches and road trips.

Tow package, K&N FIPK, K&N Cab filter, blacked out windows, powder-black TRD Sport wheels, TRD cat-back "Sport Exhaust", EBC "green pad" brakes with slotted rotors, GReddy front springs, new leaf-packs, ICON rear shocks,"Spec-D" black grille, blacked out fog-lights and headlights (all "Spec-D"), ScanGaugeII, old school Hurst "Dual Gate" shifter, black Tonneau bed cover, Mobil 1 since day one, Valentine1, idiot-behind-the-wheel-mod... *New frame and both rear leaf-spring packs as of October 2015* (weird..as mine wasn't rusty...)?! No noises, squeaks, problems whatsoever so far... ::knocks on wood:: PS) My wheels look cool only because they're coated in brake dust....
^ ^ ^ Smugly...you mean there's some kind of *benefit* to us TRD "Sport" owners?! FWIW, I take mine up to 100mph *often* (I work in the sticks and usually leave late and *no one* is around on this particular highway) and never have experienced any kind of "flex" in the hood. I'd freak. On a completely different topic and remember....i'm new to this and don't know how to search an old thread (i'm trying to learn) or start a new one but....just for kicks I thought i'd throw this out there (and if there is a *correct* way to post this or a different thread please feel free to point me in the right direction). My rear (4X4) mudflaps were completely beat within just a couple of years of buying the truck new. I even lost the one on the passenger side (right side) recently and bought a new pair as a buddy of mine (at the time) worked at a Toyo dealership and got me a new set (with all the clips/fasteners). My question is....is there anything I can do (as in sealing and/or painting/clear-coating) the flaps so they don't look so beat so fast? Thanks in advance for any info and again, sorry if this is in the wrong thread....which I think it is....

Absolutley. The debt collectors will be happy to know I was responsible and left them a contact to collect after I'm pushing up daisies.
    :humble:

PS - this setup only works if we all die in the right order and shit doesn't get repro'd. Lol.

Installed the Tonneau tri-fold cover, and drove her from Tampa to Aspen and back. Just ordered the Predator side steps, and a set of 16" Konig Countersteer Offroad. Next is Icon suspension and still trying to make up my mind on tire

    cheers,

Do I put you down in the paperwork as my long lost relative, or as my side piece on the down low?

Also need $2500 down payment so I can get my overseas inheritance.

I have a rattle on my passenger side window, but happens with the window shut, partially open, or open. Gonna have to pull it open and see what I can find. Don't really want to take it to the dealership, plus looks like somebody already brought their's to the dealer only for them to say it's normal.

I have the exact same problem and it's annoying for sure. I just up the radio volume but I will have to open it up sometime this weekend though since something is definitely loose as hell.

It's from ECG Fabrication. Great product. Much cheaper than CCG, but it took a month and a half to get even though they told me it was a one week lead time. Eventually they stopped answering emails too. Was close to canceling but figured I'd wait it out. Was in no hurry. I figure they were just backed up due to the holidays or something.
