I debadged it, had to work a whole bunch and put on a K&N in time to deploy. Now my wife controls the money and hopefully I have enough when I get back to get her washed. Soooo... mods are in progress?
    Thanks Thanks

No vibrations so far. Not running a CB drop or any pinion angle shim. If you are asking about the height shim. I am still a half in lower on the driver side running two + + leaf packs.

Yeah really isn't too bad, but that was with a half tank of gas. I'll mess with it soon

Hey so I got the OME Lift Kit with Nitro Charger Sport struts and they had this random bag or 6 nuts... couldn't quite figure out where it played in the whole suspension swap process... any ideas?

    Ah gotcha, thanks!
Just re-used the old ones, figured it was fine since they only had 15k on them

This may have been asked and answered before, but I couldn't find it on either the forum or thread search.

I'm looking at lifiting my truck (2010 AC PreRunner) in the range of 1.5-2.0" and currently plan on using OME884 coils with 5100s on the front end with some kind of leaf pack replacement (Dakars seem too severe, although maybe with a leaf removed, I've also talked to Alcan but can't get an answer about custom stiffness since they said theirs are softer than stock, which I have some concerns with).

Question for this thread is whether I can keep the factory UCAs with the 5100/OME884 combo to produce that amount of lift, or would I need to replace those as well?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe factory UCA's should be fine with that setup.

Also, have you considered an AAL kit for the rear? I run the Wheeler's 3-leaf progressive kit. I highly recommend it, it's awesome.

I started down this rabbit hole as a solution for what to do if Toyota can't get it together to have a fix for the leaf recall in the next couple months, I'm not convinced that an AAL would do enough to fix the design flaw in the factory springs and don't want to have to worry about that when I'm a long way from real service.

The more I looked into it, the closer I'm getting to pulling the trigger on just doing a little bit of a lift anyway, tricky part is that with the amount of hauling lumber I've got coming up for work on my house (got some decking and fences that need to be replaced and some landscaping), 3" is too much, not to mention all the extra mods that come with going that big, not to mention that any wheeling that'd need that much clearance and running on 33's or bigger seems likely to have to much terrain that's too far off-camber to be much fun without 4WD; even with the factory locker and the winch I'm adding in the near future, I'm not looking to get into something where I'll be winching as much as I'm driving, and I can't get out of L.A. often enough to justify much more.

If I want to do the really hard trails, I'll build up an old FJ40 or an 80's hilux, maybe an old Scout or a Samurai if I can find one, something with a shorter wheelbase to go at Rubicon or Black Bear someday.

About to order 885s with 5100s. Anybody have issues running 285/75/16 with this setup? I know CMC will most likely need to be done.

Wanting to get the 883 coils with nitro shocks front and back. Also getting the rear AAL for now, eventually wanting to get All Pro Expediton Spring. Can I fit 285s or 33 (don't know the exact difference) with rubbing or cutting. Also plan on getting a new. Bumper as maybe skids.

Still trying to decide between two kits:

    1) OME 885 coils pre-assembled with OME shocks + AAL - about $850 shipped via @ToyTec Lifts

    or

    2) Bilstein 5100s pre-assembled with 885 coils + AAL - about $780 shipped via @HeadStrong Off-Road

I don't plan on any serious offroad or winches. 95% highway. Occasional beach driving/FL trails. I've had 5100s on my past two Tacomas and kinda leaning towards something different. Any reason why I should save about $70 to go with Bilstein over OME?!

I want the whole shabang though. Pre-assembled, front/rear and AAL.
