Just curious about the needle bearing item. Is that the ECGS bushing and tool? I dont mind splitting tool cost if it is. Id like to replace mine soon as my humming/vibration from the front needle bearing is getting noticeably louder.

 

That's the part. I haven't decided when I will do it, but I have a grinding noise from the front inside there. I know it needs done soon.

 

I'd love to 3 link but it's just to expensive for what I use the truck for. I think a 63 swap is the best route for me. Pretty cheap but effective.

 

Yeah I have a feeling ill end up doing that. But 3 link the rear for $5400 plus coil overs is tempting

 

I just want to know if 63's will sag with weight of rear bumper, rack, rtt & full gear in bed.

I doubt it, they are half ton springs. I think you can adjust how much lift it gives you on the shackle angle? @dakotasyota knows

I think you should be able to do that by just changing the length of the shackle.

I've read over at Pirate4x4, that you get better flex from them by adding weight, but not sure how much they would sag over time, with gear left in/on it.

 

Engage off road has a 4 link kit for 3k. But yeah then the cost of a bed cage, hydro bumps, shocks, plus fab is going to be more like 8k

I have been wondering what the limiting factor for 63" are. I'm thinking it's the shock? In which case I wonder how a cantilever shock setup or a bed cage would work

 

You can definitely gain more lift with longer shackles.

 

Limiting for 63" is definitely shocks but you can't fit bigger than a 12" unless you go through the bed. I think some people run a 14" shock

There is a guy in SoCal that'll 3 link it for $5400 plus coil overs. Cleanest setup i've seen, its tempting

 

Yeah longer shackles would adjust lift height.

And at 100 bucks a pair you could replace them every year and not pay much more than other packs (over their lifespan)

 

Yeah they have no problem with weight. I might add a longer shackle to mine for a little lift. But it's all where you end up setting the shackle mount.

Question for the thread...what tires do you guys prefer for the wet/ice that are good on and off road in the trails around here?
In the market for new tires.
Going with 17x8.5 wheels.

 

I've enjoyed Duratracs and MTR's but I have nothing else to compare them to. Both good in snow. I think Duratracs spun out in the rain more than MTR but maybe that's because they were smaller and lighter. Ok forget it, I don't know shit. The batteries I like in my fleshlight are Energizer Advanced Lithium. My fleshlight is heated and has contractions.

 

Could mount the fleshlight under the steering column for those long road trips alone....
