Kensington makes a nice one. Try this one. It's about an inch long.

IIRC, the one I'm using is an 8gb that came with the GROM audio box and that holds over 250 mp3's which is over 25 hrs of music, so multiply that forward and 9999 songs is what? about a year's worth of music playing 24/7? Not sure I need that much, lol. Won't be in the truck that long.

I know that all depends on the bitrate of the recording but generally I do 1 setting higher than CD quality. CD = 192

Nope. Formatted the drive and cut the number of files to less than 9999. Truck still doesn't see it. Have a 64GB USB 2 drive coming from Amazon.

If you are using a modern Microsoft Windows OS, it only allows formatting anything larger than 32GB as NTFS or exFat. Your flash drive must be formatted as FAT32 to be recognized by the truck radio.

I use Windows 10 at home and Windows 7 at work. Neither will allow me to format the drive Fat32. It's a 128GB drive, so FAT32 is not an option regardless of OS. If FAT32 is a requirement, then there is a drive size limit after all.

There are many free utilities available online that will format your 128GB device to FAT32.

32gb is a fairly common max size for flash drives/sd cards in many devices. Might not just be the FAT32 thing alone. I'm sure things probably vary from oem hu to aftermarket as well.

Link to GROM USB drive setup doc. Doesn't list max size tho...............

It is a FAT32 thing alone.

There is a colossal 512GB USB3 drive being used in these Toyota Entune radios.

When you got to format your drive it will say NTFS with a drop down arrow. Drop it down and you should see FAT 32.

Starforsaken, I too have new (bought in 4/2020), large storage SanDisc USB thumb drive ( very small like a dime size); put a bunch of songs on and they wont play. Looking at reformatting the USB drive and starting over with the new reformat to FAT32 however my only reformat options are for exFat (default) and NTSF. I'm assuming it was already set for exFAT as it's the default for reformatting but I'm not sure. Suggestions appreciated!

I no longer have the link but I have a program that will format a USB in Fat32. DuckDuckGo.com will find one for you and Google will never know.
