I had bought skids but got a refund to buy books instead.......I am planning on buying an extra oil pan to have, in case it gets smashed. My logic is, i can drive home with a crushed fender......not with a crushed oil pan

While I can save for a skid set.

 

If you have skids, and crushed your oil pan, you dun fucked up.

 

But I no habe skids, yet

 

Then save your milk money for skids and sliders.

 

Mall crawlers don't need skids.... besides their panties..

 

Oil pan in taco isn't that vulnerable, gas tank is what scares me

I'm, looking at making some skids for my wifes taco, if it goes well I'll save the drwaing and templates and can make a set for you. If you trust my fabricational skills that is. They'd be cheap to make...and no shipping for you if you wait till your back home. just throwing it out there @Jamart5 @BulletToothTony @Overkill07

Thats the one thing that always worries me too.

I wish he was still making those. I could cut the damn thing with a cut off wheel If I so desired I guess, just need to source the UHMW...none of our cutting boards are that big

Awesome! The transfer case skid will take some work, but the IFS and transmission skid are easy peasy.

 

I've gone this long without so what's another month or two
