Those of you trd OR guys, I did the locker mod today. Took about 45 minutes and is well worth it. Can engage my rear locker in 2H and 4H now as well as 4L like normal.

 

How hard was it, do mine

 

One relay, some crimp on connectors, short piece of wire and some other misc stuff you should have laying around and you're done. I'll get the link.

Saturday after the meet @jokker1978 & @Jamart5 came by the house and gave me and James some moral support while we converted his old style US-Offroad hidden winch mount into a hidden receiver mount. Came out better than expected.


Excuse the slightly globbed weld below, had my wire speed up to fast.





Still have a little bit of cleaning up to do on the truck side, need some stripping to edge off the rest of the cut out in the bumper.

 

I like it. I have been back and forth on what I want to do now since we talked at Gilmer. There is another company that makes some modular components for a removable winch option that I'm looking into.

And yes I'm at work for now. I had to come in and do payroll. Not sure if I'll stay the whole day or not.

 

I found the group thread finally! Thanks to Tacodrive08, I don't have all that winch weight in the front now might help a little on the mpg.
