    so I finally actually went out and played with my welder earlier today. managed to weld the old exhaust pipe I tore out of the 80 "back together". god it looks horrible.....still have no idea of what im really doing, but it got it together lol

    With that thin stuff its easier to spot weld it or you can slow down the wire speed but make sure it isn't to hot also with a mig you really want to make sure everything is clean migs don't like dirty metal

    oh yeah, I slowed the wire speed down and it seemed to help a little. I ground down the pipes before I did any welds
