Some have just taken it off, chopped the antenna and reinstalled. However, when I tried doing it that fuc**r was NOT coming off. I just used a plastic tip off an old CB antenna instead.

Shortened the stock antenna to 14" and reused the ball end. Painted it flat black. Looks awesome. I should of done it 11 years ago, lol.

I liked this one liked and read well to me, flexable stainless steel, it claims that others stay bent and their does not? I ordered one for my new truck that Ive not even got yet, lol. But the truck I demo'ed for a couple days hit the garge door and I cant stand that. Im suppose to pick up my new truck today and cant wait!!! My last 700,000 miles has been in Dodge trucks with the Cummins engines, loved them but ready for a change.

I only listen to XM so I capped my antenna with this "bullet antenna" (that's what its called on Ebay).

AntennaX Euro short guy. Reception is okay, but a ton more sensitive to power lines / buildings in the area. I may try chopping my stock one down and seeing if it is any better.

I should be receiving the antennaX 14" Black Billet soon. I'll post a pic and my thoughts on it as soon as I get it.

I just got the antennaX 14" bullet. It has a little hiss at low volume but over all a nice little antenna.

I recently had ordered the stubby antenna from CravenSpeed, it looked great and was a quality product, but lost reception to most stations, had to send her back.

15" flexible gets better reception than the original and no need to have it removed at the car wash.
