    Love Ball Lickin

    I first heard Zach say it last year at my annual sleepover. He had just got done tying up his hair and putting on his knee pads when as he started applying his chap stick he muttered the letters "LBL". I went ahead and let him proceed for a min or so before reluctantly interrupting him and asking what "LBL" meant. Taking one last lick and whipping off a small drop of white liquid that had accumulated in the corner of his mouth, he said "Love ball lickin." I looked at him, befuddled at first, and after a moment of pause shook my head with a small grin on my face as to acknowledge my agreement of such a funny little phrase. I then stood up from my lazy boy chair, put my shirt back on and walked over to the cardboard box table we had erected using only popsicle sticks and big league chewing gum, where a pillow awaited the warm embrace of my knees. It was finally my turn! With my eyes half closed, head slightly back and tongue fully extended, I licked that voluptuous mound of sugary delight as if it were my last. Instantly I felt myself float off into euphoria as if nothing else in the world mattered. I had reached my heaven. Who would've known Vanilla ice cream could've been so good.
