    Am I the only one that comes up with things to do to my truck just because I'm bored? I find myself doing that way too often. I can't be the only one though...

    I hope :confused:

    Does anyone have any ideas on where to mount two light pods?

    This is what happens When i get bored.. And when you have an obsession with lights..

    DSCF3173_zps2b3286af_df2d4d1350a78eddace1c1c3e665b17ff268d185.jpg

    And still trying to add more. Ha.
    Ditch light brackets are the most popular. I mounted the Orange ones on the hood with trunk lip antenna mounts that clamp on the edge of the hood. Also have some led cannons on cbi ditch brackets. Seem to be the cheapest. Except I think croth is selling ditch brackets cheaper. Even has dual pillar brackets. Others have put dual pods in the turn signal area. I put the 8" bars in mine..

    Do an ebay/Amazon search for bullet leds, you'll find more than you could ever use!

    Yea I think the pieces comes pre wired with LED's. At least I've seen it like that before. Was wondering if he had a link for them pre wired and ready for install

    Oh another thing casey, for some nice touches to add to your truck, is some sweet vinyl bedside stickers. Or other stickers. Got some amazing bedsides for mine from @ruggedT . there's other vendors as well. Lots to choose from. And can even use your own fonts, to an extent. Tons of fonts to choose from at dafont.com

    Other addition I love is my tpms.

    Not sure what all you're looking for to do to your truck, whether it's lighting stuff, or anything in general... Just throwing out some options for ya that I've done as far as cosmetics go, and personal favorites of mods/additions. Getting a dash cam pretty soon too.

    Lol. Yeah it's pretty sweet. And have had no issues with it. Been installed for, idk, 3 years maybe. Had big o tires install the sensors for me. Some places MIGHT have a problem with this. As they usually sell their own retrofit kits for older vehicles. But much more pricey. Luckily my local big o is pretty lenient. The lcd screen and wiring install was very easy and straightforward. I attached some Velcro to the screen and placed it on the dash by the dimmer.

    So looking at them now on Amazon im seeing units that just simply screw onto the tops of the valve stem and monitor psi like that. Any opinions on those? Havent looked long obviously but i noticed one that had a 3 year warranty.

    @toendanger
    So i have no prior experience with tpms' at all. For example, the ones you linked, are those the actual valve stems with the sensor one the bottom? Or do those deals go up inside youre valve stems? If thats the case do you have to get special stems to accomodate this?

    Ha I was just looking at those too!! Yeah they must be fairly new. I haven't really looked at these since I bought mine back then. They look pretty nice actually. Saw one branded Carchet something or other. Seems itd be much easier to just swap the sensors when you rotate. Mine you gotta program it/relearn the sensor position. Another thing to note, with mine, is that if you air down, a lot when offroading, is that the sensors will only go down to like 18 psi for the low pressure alarm. So if you air down below that, you'll have to unplug the unit or else alarms will just go off. Ha. I'm not comfortable airing down lower than that anyways, and don't do much offroading. Not sure how the other ones work in that respect.

    No they replace your oem valve stems completely. The valve stem and sensor are a complete unit that must be installed by removing the tires. Them you just use regular valve stem caps. Looks like stock stems when you're done. The sensors would be inside the wheel. Not sure I'd be inclined to get the other screw on sensors myself, just because of the looks. Kinda, bulky, looking. Idk that's just me being nit picky.

    Id like to try the exterior sensors myself if they arent junk and like you just mentioned it would be super easy to just take em off while in an air down situation, well, and for rotation purposes too! I like to go to the dunes every now and again so i air down at least a few times a year, sometimes in the snow too if im having troubles at normal psi, which isnt often but sometimes ill air down in the snow. Definitely gunna look into these things a lil more now.....gee thanks alot for making my wallet lighter!!..j/k.

    Edit**i do agree on the bulkiness factor on the exterior sensors maybe being a lil too much...
