coilovers themselves are great. Customer service from icon, not so much.

I see you still are a bitter bitch today.

Use them with bilstein shocks that have adjustable perches. Then you can get more or less lift. I believe the tundra ones have 5 settings and the Tacoma ones have three.

I've never run them. I went straight to my icons up front.

I have the tundra ones. It doesn't really make sense to me how changing the perch makes it higher. The shaft on the shock isn't getting longer. Just seems like you would be preloading the spring and it would ride like crap.

That's exactly what you are doing. More preload is more lift but gets harsher.

Same thing with fancy coil overs like icon, fox,King.

That's why I put a 14" King spring in place of my 13" icon Spring. So I got the same lift with way less preload.

they ride great, these had 60k miles on them when the rust on my shaft tore the inner seal at full compression. Otherwise i'd still be cruising on them without needing a rebuild. Rebuild kit was $35 each and rebuild itself was $75 each. Im happy with them. The shaft getting rust was an off circumstance and shouldnt be "usual".

I do more highway driving than anything so I'd like digressive for the speeds and shitty roads that I have to drive on. I'm leaning on snagging them.

Correct. I read in some thread that said most were pre wired you would just need to get the wiring from the locker to the dash. :notsure:

I've got a month to figure it out. Swapping the axle and the front diff out is not a worry. Making sure I have all the electrical crap I need is.

I have it set on the lowest. No effective preload. I am only running 1.5in lift in the front. Lame. I know

I am realistic about my needs. I am not going to run a ridiculous amount of lift to drive to work and back. It gets me where I need. But more importantly gets me out. I also don't have to deal with diff drop. Panhard. Brake line. I am fine being lame.

Careful. I may go camping Saturday...

    just kidding.

It is all about how you use your vehicle and the driver is more important than any lift. These rigs are so capable with no lift w/ the e-locker anyway.
