Aw mothafuker. I'm supposed to be in the next batch he sends. Looks like Saturday I'll be doing the shackle flip. Probably fix the cab mount chop. Adding a backup camera. Dam cap makes backing up a little tougher. Haha. Got new ventvisers since a tree took my passenger ones. Next time guys. Next time. As long as it's not the weekend of the 16th of April.

Yea I was looking earlier, didn't see it. My spare... it's the full size for the old tires... its smaller then what I've got now. Think that's gonna be an issue?

Out of curiosity, why would using it total your rig? I've had one in my truck since my first rc trips thinking if my shit ever was on fire I could hopefully salvage/save my truck with that extinguisher. Though realistically you would be saving someone else's rig with an extinguisher before you use it on yourself since first priority for the driver of said vehicle on fire is to get the fuck out.

the powder that is in most ABC dry chem extinguishers is extremely corrosive and will utterly destroy any electrical wiring that it comes into contact with, as well as aluminum, copper etc. it also will turn from a dry powder into cement if it comes into contact with water, so if your extinguisher fails and the fire department adds some water to the mix, your truck is toast. Its the reason why you dont ever see dry chem extiuishers on airport ramps, the chemicals will corrode the metals in the aircraft, so all thats out there are "clean agent" extinguishers. Here is an excellent thread from the Pirate Forums that goes over all the ups/downs on extinguishers, its a really good read. now, to be fair, id still say keep a cheap dry chem to hand out to somone else to use, as the Halon ones are uber expensive.

    Good point.
I'd hope to at least prevent a total loss of the vehicle with one...
Better yet help someone else in need.

I used one once to put out a Harley that was on fire after a guy got hit on 611 and dumped the bike. Dude broke his leg real good but I saved the bike from burning up.

Hmmm I have a small dry Chem mounted on my rear door. Hope to never use it but it's there if I ever do. Didn't know it was corrosive or like cement though. Good to know.

I need a new one my "c" broke in half =( I was going to copy the font and take it to a vinyl tee shirt shop to get a new one made but if you have an extra that would work too.

https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/886-backup-light-mod.209578/ Don't use the 886 light though. Read the thread. I think it's a gy35 bulb. Just make sure if you buy them make sure they are 12v because they also make 120v.
