A little late on this posting as it happened yesterday, but the wife and I did a little off-roading in the mountains here in Colorado. Here are some pics of the day. It wasn't anything crazy. The trail I thought was pretty moderate but after reading reviews of the trails it was rated as difficult. I guess it goes to show how well our trucks perform! I used 4 LO and the Multi-Terrain select system quite a bit! I also installed DDM Tuning's HID kit in my lows and fogs. 6000k and 55W ballasts. You can see that in the last picture.

Can't quite tell where this is at. Slaughterhouse? I'm always down to go hit some trails if you want some company next time!

Slaughthouse it was! I thought it was a great trail! And yeah, I'd definitely be down to hit that trail up again with some company or any other trails. We found it on alltrails.com.

Looks like your rocking the OEM Toyota Mud Guards. Any problems with them while you were offroading?

Did you remove inner plastic cover and weather strip to install sill protectors?

I would make a velcro strap and keep it inside the grill somewhere.

Anyone install a fire extinguisher in their 3rd gen? I have one still in the box behind the rear driver side seat but really don't know where the best place is...

Yeah I was there last weekend. Some of the downhills were pretty icy, but other than that not too bad. I use traildamage.com

I would tuck that in. I got the dealer to install mine. It comes with 2 detachable cords. A short and a long one which attach to the truck. I open the cover and attach the cord to the truck when I need it. I find it easy and cleaner then the old way. Plus I don't have to worry about the cord scratching the paint. I got that installed at the dealer.IMG_2316.jpg

Cool. I have had a few vehicles where the heater cord flapping in the wind was a concern. Is it possible to tuck it underneath the bumper?

i do not know how to wire my amp and Line out converter to the stock NON JBL Headunit, I have purchased the to wiring harnesses from Metra but still no clue what to do. I see the wires for the drivers side rear speaker are white and black and passengers side rear speaker is blue and green. Can someone please tell me what the hell to do and how to wire in one 10" sub with all that information. Thank you. Im an idiot.

I removed the plastic covers and just slid the door sill protector under the edge of the weather strip. Bit of a pain to find an edge to pull on but comes off pretty easy once you get it started.
