I'd agree with this. My first lift kit was the toytec ultimate which came with 5100s. IMO they will get you by but leave you looking for more. If I were to do it over I'd save a little more money and do something with a little better performance the first time around

okay back! didn't take that long to get rid of me:thumbsup: I seriously need some analytical brain to talk to me about lift kits. How about I start with some led lights that Jake promised to help me install?!?! Or do I need to wait 462 days?

Plus Bilstein hasn't released the approved 5100's for the 2016 truck yet, they are in the process of testing but no release date scheduled that i know of. I saw that @2016spicytaco was in the 2016 thread presented by Toytec Lifts and A LOT of miss information is flying around that thread.

With toytec being a local company id hit them up with any questions in regards to your 2016, great people up at that shop!!

There is no way that the stock springs are 700, probably more like 600. Why are you set on Fox?

just take what you read in that 2016 thread with a grain of salt, lots and lots of people in that thread are putting 5100's with OME coils on 2016's when neither company has an approved kit for the 16 tacoma yet, and are mixing and matching Bilstein with OME coils which is NOT recommended, neither company will warranty replace either part when / if it fails.

Let me get through the first six Saturdays damn it! Jake I am not trying to change my 3rd into a Frankenstein. I want to make sure my lady has enough clearance to get in and my two puppies. I already hear about it why I don't have side steps (she calls it a step thingy) instead of sliders....oi.
