Hmm... I know you are all good and will upgrade when you need to but I have to say... your service writer is full of crap! I suggest you find a better source to rely on for information.

Pretty sweet! I just called Fat Bob and got put on hold because the Taco truck was around the corner, but when I did get a tech from North Korea on the line he said that they have installed these on 4 Tacomas and no issues. Said that Bilstein hasn't released new part number yet, and not to worry because they have a lifetime warranty or until they change their name to skinny Ricks lol!

Good call. I installed the Fox 2.0's on my buddies Titan and while they were better than what he had stock, personally I don't think it's any better or worse than 5100's with 885's. Keeping your 5100's and adding the 885's with a progressive AAL will be a solid setup for sure.

SPC has made numerous improvements on their set up over the years. Did you get the new ball joints with the grease zerk? That will help with longevity. There ability to align the truck is awesome. However if you plan to be really rough off road you would be better off with a set of Total Chaos UCA's. They handle the abuse longer but the uniball goes out more often.

And ironically the 2017 Tacoma PRO Edition will be running a FOX shock set up on it.

Oh hell starting next year all Tacos will have a different shock on them. My understanding is that Toyota and Bilstein are parting ways.

I am curious to see how they are. I will be moving my SPC UCA's to my 4th Gen 4runner here soon and was going to replace the balls with the new ones. Gonna get me a set of TC UCA'S for the taco.

So back on the subject of extended brake lines... Toytec confirmed today that the lines are the same for front and rear. So current kits they sell will fit both gens.

They look good and like I said ride is better than stock. Just hoping someone comes out with right stuff soon! Going to leave Fox shocks on rear.
