So with that added preload and weight your buckets will start to / \ around the motor and make adding headers impossible.

The TC CB gussets are more for the UCA bolt but dont stop / \ from happening where this brace does.

You got it. I have implemented a lot of structural reinforcement early in my build with the hopes of not running into these issues down the road. I haven't done the xbrace yet, but its on the short list.

I saw that. Plating your rear frame and cross bracing that. I like all the preventative measures

Thank @loco for that piece of advice. Very glad i did that. The whole truck feels so different. I really thought id have more body roll with the flip and longer shackle but the truck just feels so much more solid in turns now. I can feel the valving in the 12s working. Fucking Cadillac now.

That's awesome dude!! I feel like my Dakars are just so beefy that they are slightly rough when hitting imperfections on the road but im glad I can carry a lot of weight and not sag. On my 2 week 3300 mile trip I took in September or 2014, I had a 500 lbs of gear, my bedrack, and RTT on at all times and the springs held up so well!! I'm getting an alignment right now. The front feels super smooth. There is two huge dips by my house that I went fast over when I got the LT buttoned up and it soaked it up soooo nicely!

I have the xbrace and can definitely tell a difference. The front end stays planted and really rides well. I'm glad I have it.

Put my SS extended brake lines up front today after I got home from work. Probably do the rear tomorrow or this weekend

Nice. How difficult were those spindle gussets? I've got a set in my garage that need to go on but I need to find someone who will weld them up.

They were super easy. Hardest part was getting the spindles off of the truck haha. The gussets themselves were super easy to weld on. Great fit. The only thing you may have to do is bend the brake dust cover back a little so it doesn't make contact with the brake drum when the wheel spins

For me it was more of using a punch on that dust shield cause it hit in multiple spots.

    Get to it dawg!

That's exactly what I did. That's a better explanation. It was right where the bottom of the spindle gusset meets the back side of the dust shield. Pushes it towards the wheel so you have to beat it back a little

Ya I should. The problem I have is o haven't bought any yet, and at some point I will be going to a true mid-travel set up.
