What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I did not do any drawings to build it. I built a cardboard mock-up and then took measurements off of that when everything fit. It takes some time up front but made building the box much easier in the end. Internal volume is around .6 which works with this sub.

 

Just answered my own question, I just saw the 2017 PRO, that grill is nice.

I have only had my TRD a month, but have the exact same feeling. Reminds me of grandfather's saying " I thought I made a mistake once, but turned out I was correct "

 

My wife, the fashionista who likes the Quicksand because it matches her bag as she was quick to point out (profile pic), said the grill needed to go and allowed me to spend her money on the Rad Industries definite 'upgrade'!

Well put, but had to swap out the chrome OEM eyesore for imho best looking grill of all, base model OEM SR.

You couldn’t be further from the truth.

 

I'm not into my sport grill at all, yet love the SR OEM for sure. Would like to have that one instead only. As for the aftermarket mesh grill ones, not feeling them at all and seem and little mexi.

 

I washed it.. up to 190 miles on the ODO now.

Soap soak goes pink at those car washes, you didn't use the brush attachment did you?! Scratch the hell out of your paint

 

In my opinion, the OR's and Sports grilles should have came from the factory (with matching paint) like this:



I probably wouldn't have changed my grille if they had come like this.

 

Has anyone done the colour keyed mod with mgm????? Super curious!! Or maybe photoshop would let me know ??

I didn't see one in the color keyed grille mod thread. The Quicksand one and the Blazing Blue Pearl look awesome though.

Hell No! Those things might as well be advertised as soapy sandpaper wands. lol This wash was to get the excessive tire shine the dealer applied. As I used to be a professional detailer, things like tire shine flung all over the sides of the truck is enough to drive me mad.

 

Good man, I cringe every time I drive past one.
