    As stock as they come.
I have been researching the rust issues and all the threads and products. I have narrowed my choice down to three applications. I actually like the Amsoil option but Im not crazy about applying with spray cans.

My question is, for those using one of the three products, how is your particular product holding up and will you submit a pic of the undercarriage of your truck after some times lapsed since applying ?

Also if you did not do it yourself, how much did you pay to have it done ?

I was at the dealer this morning, with my material they said $200-$300 for the job.

    Thanks !

I bought CRC Brand of Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor Spray and did all under my truck right after I bought it, still looks just like it did before winter.

A lot of guys in the jeep world use fluid film. Apply it for winter or wheeling trips. Works wonders.

I had an oil spray done before winter. The place used hydraulic oil. Not as effective. Had surface rust in many places. It was messy. Dripped all over my garage and driveway for weeks. Didn't last the winter.

I learned of fluid film after my truck was done but the hydro oil wouldn't let the fluid film bond so I was SOL

It is a 1992, I bought it all the way back in April of 1998 off the original owner, cant believe I had it for 18 years.

    Supercharged, Magnaflow, Volant,
I've done the Amisol under my truck. Seems to be holding up well, but I don't drive in snow that often so I can't say much to continued exposure against salts. Took about 5 cans (thats being very liberal taking into account every nook and cranny) to do the whole under side, maybe 6 if I also sprayed the insides of the frame. I did sections (front, middle, back) at a time so I wouldn't get too tired over a period of 3 days, it wasn't that bad. I would highly recommend doing it outdoors to minimize overspray and cover the entire painted areas of the truck from overspray (cause for less clean up work after), wear protective gear (mask, gloves, googles, painters overalls). Give it a week to dry if you can so it doesn't pick up road dust. Once you are done, it is easy to reapply as needed since it is spray can. Cost of each can is about $10.

Not sure if you've seen this thread, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-rust-prevention-experiment.310580/ there are some pics there of people's under side (mine looks about the same) and their experiences. The spray wand also helps to get into tight/awkward places. I also took apart my front skids to get to the underside of the engine and took out the spare tire to access the rear frame easier.
