Onboard compressor locations

    preparing to install Air Lift onboard compressor. Looks like the best place for the compressor is inside the frame. But, what about the panel assembly inside. The bottom edge of the dash is too narrow to attach it there. Only place I see is on the compartment door at the left of the dash.
    Any suggestions?

    Interesting, Air Lift says under the hood is the last place to put it.

    I have mine under my hood and have had zero issues. My brother has his there too as do many people

    That would certainly be easier. Did you go through the firewall on driver or passenger side? Also, where did you mount the gauge and control panel?

    Firewall was driver side

    The control for it is in the truck

    I don't have a gauge. It's on the compressor so it stays within certain psi
