Myself, I'd be keen to get that center piece with the slots so I can stash my aftermarket microphone inside of it, instead of having it clipped to the headliner. I'll think about it but for now I have so much more to do.

Tires, soon to be shocks, bushings, and bull bar. No lift, not needed.
Nice, did you add a leaf to the springs or replace them altogether? I'm trying to decide what kind of bushings to get as well. Would polyurethane be too stiff? Thanks in advance. Learning about this all on my own and this seems to be the only place people talk logically about their trucks

I tried putting my aftermarket mic in that area but everyone said it sounded horrible and like I was in a tunnel. I wound up poking it out of a blank in my switch panel like this

Can't we all just find common ground. We all love conquering some rocks, Some of us just do it a little easier than others.

With 86k miles on the odometer I just changed the transfer case and front and rear diff fluids on my 06' for the first time. I bought the truck recently and the previous owner had the truck serviced its entire life at the local Toyo dealer but never had the diffs or tc changed.

A sincere thank you to all the good folks who have and continue to contribute to this forum. From the part numbers of the crush washers to the fluid volumes and torque specs the information provided was spot on. You guys made the job much easier.

FWIW, I used Mobile 1 75W-90. The front and rear fluid was black and the TC color was about 1/2 way between new and the black of the front and rear. I also greased all 5 zerks. Also changed the S-belt last weekend.
Plugs are up next and then we should be good on the PCMS for a while!

    Sincerely,
    JAWA in JAWJA!
