I have a offroad with the tech and tow. What drew me to the access cab was the look. It looked more "menacing" to me plus no kids no passengers so no need for the back seat.

I am looking to do a rear seat delete if and when a diy comes out.

Pretty sure there was a guy who posted in this thread about doing his rear seat delete. Shouldn't be too far back. Could send him a PM for more info.

I removed the rear seat bottom cushions and head rests. I left the original back panel and seat belts. If someone does need to sit back there in a pinch, I'll just throw a pillow or cushion on the plastic shelf and they can sit on that and still buckle up.

I have the utility package and the one thing I wish they had left is the seatbelt a just for a situation like that. Now if someone has to ride in the back in a pinch I think I may need to ratchet strap their ass in somehow lol. The price reduction for utility package was still worth it though.

Just picked up an SR 4x4, 4 Cylinder, AC, Manual and am having a bit of Monday morning buyer's remorse with not going with the V6 version. I don't plan on doing much 4x4ing, but would like to hear if others have tried and how the 4L version handles the terrain. Also, how are other 4 Cylinder owners liking the truck so far and have they found it to be under powered? I've only got a dozen miles on the truck so far, just want to get an honest opinion from other 3rd gen owners out there on any short comings of the 4 Cylinder model.

It should be 3 pieces. The back section. And left and right seat belt harness pieces.

You could pull the seat belts and just have the shoulder hole still there if you didn't want to buy the left and right.

I have the same truck but Barcelona. I did at first, but I'm averaging 23.2mpg on fuely 6 fills, and I commute in the Bay Area and live in the mountains. For example my old work truck got 12.1, 13' GMC 2500 4x4 stock. The 2.7 is really feeling good right now at 2,000 miles. It was a total dog for the first 500 miles. I heard they loosen up till around 30k. When I hit the hills 5th is useless and if I get slowed down 3rd will get me as fast as I want to go. The wide band dual variable valve timing makes a huge difference. I feel it is by far one of the most reliable trucks on the road right now. I'm a Ram Jeep guy, but when it came to a commute truck Toyota 4-banger was an easy choice. I did wish it had the 6-Speed. I'm slowly buying everyone's take off TRD parts to bling mine out, hahaha.

I really enjoy driving the truck and it cruises very well at 75-80, and is amazingly quite. Can't beat the 24.4k price tag.
