i snelled some hooks.

Did a few more upgrades today

Replaced my Icon V.S. 2.0 Remote Reservoir shocks with Fox Performance Series Reservoir with CD Adjuster




I'm thinking of turning the shock around and trying to get the reservoir to mount more in the center of the wheel rather than in the back of the wheel well.

Got my

$142 Uniden Bearcat 880 CB Radio with 40 Channels and Large Easy-to-Read 7-Color LCD Display with Backlighting, Backlit Control Knobs/Buttons, NOAA Weather Alert, PA/CB Switch, and Wireless Mic Compatible

Uniden Bearcat 880 CB Radio installed today! Yes... I paid someone to do it. Local shop in town charged me $163 ($85/hr) to do the install. I think it came out VERY clean. They made their own custom brackets to mount it in the cubbie hole in front of the gear selector. Couldn't be happier so far. I've yet to take the time to tune the antenna (just picked up the truck and went straight back to work). Meeting a local 4x4 club tonight so hopefully I can do a radio check and get it tuned.

Firestik II Antenna mounted on @RelentlessFab hood mount brackets! Couldn't have worked any better. I've got the metal roof and hood for ground planes so I'm hoping for good signal. And as you can see the hood bracket ensures that with the hood completely open the antenna parallels the windshield. Works out perfectly.



I'm giddy and can't wait to actually put the CB to some use now!

 

You have set that truck very nice. Color matched bumper looks awesome.

Haha! Yea sideways for sure! Motocross is a lot of fun. The last race I went to was actually a super-cross @ Datona and it was Ricki Carmichael's last year of racing. Thanks!

They installed it and didn't take the five minutes to tune it? WTF? How do they know it works?

 

I told them I'd tune it. My CB has SWR built in. Gives me something to do! Come on! It'll help me learn the digital controls too.

Picked up my BAMF bolts ons from the powder coater...hopefully I will be able to find the time, energy, and a helper to install them before the weekend! If not, I'll find a way to finagle them on my own.
