Thats what I did one day when I was bored. Moved the horns up near the fuses and painted the AC radiator black with some high temp paint. Turned out pretty well!

None whatsoever! When I was originally asking about it, people were giving me shit saying my truck was going to overheat and whatnot. Had it painted for close to a year, and even had an 1100 mile road trip towing 4000 pounds with no issue. This is also with a light bar stuffed in the lower valence "restricting air flow" (yeah, right). So to answer your question, its totally fine.

Not bad at all if you have right tools. The ride is great under 80, but a lot play in sterling wheel after that.

The same shit everyone else has.
Did the zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor in hopes of getting rid of the weird ABS/VSC light -

Bilstein 5100's w/front's set at 1.75", TRD exhaust, Colormatched grill, Illuminated 4wd selector switch, BAMF Bolt on Sliders w/kickout.
Figured there was no better time than the present to get them bolted on...my motivation was I didn't want to trip over them again every time I got in and out of the truck until I "found" the time to install them. It took me about two and a half hours, but I am running on about an hour and a half of sleep in the last forty eight hours so it probably took much longer than it needed to. I used a floor jack as a helper, and some boxes as a back up so I wouldn't rearrange my face if they fell off the jack. Passenger side went smooth. Driver's side took twice as long and fought me the whole way. Only real complication I ran into was the the clips that hold the rigid brake lines on the driver's side were all so old and brittle that when I tried to gently bend the lines out of the way. They just shattered. Hopefully I will be able to source some replacements online.

Well, without further adieu...my BAMF bolt on sliders are finally installed!

Just finished up all the mods for my Taco. I installed custom retrofit projectors with led switchbacks, bpfabrications style grill, installed my pelfreybilt bumpers, aftermarket led tails and 3rd brake light. Been a busy past few days.

    Over the last few weeks...
I'm on the far left in this pic. Before this photo, I had:
Plasti dipped the front and back badges black and the sides red, put on a stubby antenna, tonneau cover, and Fuel wheels and general grabber tires.

    13015090_10156793497300066_349861386_n.jpg

Then light bar.. just a cheap "simplive" Amazon one. I don't use it on a daily basis but do head out into the bush and do a decent amount of camping and exploring. It's nice to have some light when setting up camp if it's dark. Licence plate is stupid there- I know.. but I just haven't had time to move it yet.

    12988083_10156793498090066_1014082931_n.jpg

Did the grille around the same time. I had the honeycomb on there before and it is not the ideal grille to do the mod with as it lacks any sort of top flange.. so i had to do many many many layers of bondo. It's not perfect but you can't even really tell up close.

    13010050_10156793497935066_820164000_o.jpg 12991902_10156793497900066_788257798_o.jpg
Sprayed the rad while i had the grille off.

    12980834_10156793498025066_801334411_o.jpg 12970525_10156793497650066_303783928_o.jpg

After putting the grille back on, you could see a couple cracks in the bondo..and being pretty picky.. my solution was.. plasti dip! it turned out awesome!

    13009713_10156793498145066_489616590_o.jpg

Then took the TRD logo off my honeycomb grille (amazon purchase again) and placed it face down with dbl sided tape on my brake light and sprayed engine paint over top hoping that it would not break down from the heat of the bulbs like a lot of regular spread paints would.

    12986523_10156793498230066_1947580703_o.jpg

Sold my running boards..waiting for Rough Country nerf bars. Also pulled the red and changed to black

    13009855_10156793497515066_1412320415_o.jpg

Added BPFabrications shackle mount and sprayed the skid plate with black bedliner.

    12991781_10156793498270066_1811331000_o.jpg

As of now, i have also added 3 amber lights to the grille and have put flush mounted flood lights in the rear bumper.

    13000399_10156793498310066_439766666_o.jpg

Some extra info in my build post but it's not as updated with photos.
