Hey My name's Dave im from the 619(San Diego) and I have a few concerns to share with the Taco Gods.

My rear-end is in serious need of fluid change. Trucks at 45k and am also hearing a clank when accelerating from a stop.

I'm not sure what fluid I need or where to get it and is the clank any way related?

I drive the 08 PreRunner TRD with the diff lock capability.

The "Clank" sounds like it could be a U joint...

Crawl underneath the truck and look at the U-joints. Grab the drive shaft and shake it, twist it, etc. You might have some rotational 'play' in it but if you notice any linear play (up & down/side to side)....it's probably u-joint.

    2008 ??? You're still under warrantee aren't you?

Take it to the dealer and let them figure it out!
