I vote for hard retractable tonneau.

I've been looking at a roll tonneau. Been comparing the Pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit and the Truck Covers USA. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering the TCUSA after xmas.

Remember you lose your rails with the TCUSA. I found out the hard way.

Trying to see if mini-cleats will fit in there though or I might try looking for another set of rails and try bolting them underneath the existing rails so I can use my cleats and any other stuff I may need to use. Right now I just attach bungee cord to the existing holes in the rails that are there every 12"-16"

That's not a problem for me. With the TCUSA can you put a full 4*8 sheet in and have it slide all the way to the cab? The jackrabbit is a definite no, its box is too big.

Bizarroterl, I think you can there's lots of space underneath the box about 8" not sure. But you have to take out the drain tube though. I installed mine so it can be easily removed and didn't want to drill any holes. I'll try to take some pics later.

Mine is naked. I would never get a cap unless I really had a good use for it. I can't stand the way they look. I'd consider a tonneau, but I don't think it's worth it to me right now. I can typically fit everything I want to keep dry in the back of my access cab. If it provided much better fuel efficiency, I'd consider it.

Undercover lid bought it in 2008 got a good deal $590 new installed and only had to wait a day. I love it lightweight, water tight, has locks to keep stuff secured. The only thing i hate is the sun fades it like all other plastic have to black it out once a month.
