after messing with the Switchpro's bluetooth capabilities for a couple hours.. I got the switch pro buttons programmed. now I can turn my lights on without the keys in the ignition, as well as strobe, and have a memory setting. Also mounted the pods.. but didnt get to wiring them. have lots of wiring to do this weekend. oh.. and my light bar finally shipped.. so sometime next week.

Park that sucker in the driveway and rig a motion sensor to it now! No one will ever walk by your house again after getting blinded with all those lights. Lol.

hahaha.. hmmm.. lol I was actually thinking of wiring at least the side flood lights that are mounted to the Prinsu, into my alarm or dome lights. that way if the alarm does go off.. it floods the area.. or when I unlock the truck it does the same thing.

You know how easy it is to make your own HID's? Get housings off craigslist for $10 and buy a plug in play HID kit and mod it to work. My friend David has a setup that is ridiculous and he only has like $15 in it haha

yup.. did this with my old HELLA 500's I had. problem is.. if the optics aren't just right.. the output/pattern is meh.. defeating the purpose of that nice High Output from the HID.

Well set them up better ;)

Our problem is that it takes 24,000 Volts to ignite the HID's. 24,000 Volts can spark over an inch, and with metal housings, things were proving difficult.

I'm just over HID honestly.. bulbs, ballasts, warm up time, etc. Im in the process of swapping out my fog HIDs to LED pods. I do like HID for distance, thats for sure. If I was all LT'd out.. I would have Kragens on my front bumper, maybe even a roof bar.

Yeah for ease of use and function LED wins for sure. Especially dust lights and/or flashing lights, HID can't even do that

the dust for sure! thats one of the biggest reasons for all this lighting. LED is great for the camping too.. nice flood lighting, low draw, etc.
