What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Army surplus has them 2 for like $7. I'm sure the dealership charges more than that

 

we put a set on my wifes rav i went out this weekend and found all 4 were just loosely sitting in thw window channels. the 2 sided tape they used appeared to basically be like 2 sided scotch tape very thin i cleaned it off and reinstalled with 3m 2 sided tape they should stay on now. in all fairness i did not install them originally the dealer did and may not have done so properly

 

What are you trying to accomplish here? I can help you out.

Picked up my Taco today. Got the 4.56 regear and ARB locker install done.



This was the lot at the custom shop when I got there this afternoon.

 

Is there enough slack in the leads for the fog lamp switch, to swap that with the compressor switch?
The lack of symmetry would drive me nuts I think.

 

Also congrats on the regear and locckers, I admit I'm a little jelly

 

upgraded the plain stock fairlead with the offset one from okoffroad. Fits the arb much nicer.

 

Yeah it bugs me a little too. LoL

I didn't observe the install so I'm not sure.

Would even be better if the single was on top because then it would at least be...triangular/pyramid like.

Maybe I'll ask them to fix it some day. As it is I paid them way too much to do what they did.

 

Installed husky mudguards all around. Took 30 minutes and they look nice and are quite a bit shorter. No more dragging!

 

Yea the master cylinder on the '13 is totally different than the '14
Edit. Looks like due to different TRD packages. Always learning.
