Does anyone have any experience with these?

It fits my purpose, but I'd love to hear some first-hand experience.

 

Damn. I guess nobody has one. Found a couple threads mentioning the thing, but nothing like: "I've had one for years...its great". Guess no answer is as good as a coffin nail.

 

Looks like it is built well, look for reviews under other truck applications? The design is going to be consistent just mounted to different truck beds. The one that came to my mind is how well is the pivot built- does it have a tapered bearing or? With that much weight on it a good design will still swing back in place with minimal amount of lifting to get it to latch.

We carry them and currently have one on one of our trucks. They are exceptionally well built and fubctional. Personally recommend them very heavily if you want a bumper alternative.

Do you have the vertical mount gate? Would you mind sharing pictures of how it secured to either side of the bed?

 

Sorry I have the hitch mounted version.
