So I received my Hitchgate Solo Swing out Tire Carrier Monday to test for Wilco Off Road. Install is amazingly simple, powdercoat finish is next to none. This thing is beefy, extremely sturdy with the 2 inch receiver wedge lock. Waiting on the attachable Rotopax Mount to put my 2 Gallon Rotopax on. My 5th FAUX TRD Bronze Beadlock wheel and tire will be on tomorrow. 1 pic for now stand by for more. @ewxlt66

Damn, I actually like it. Does it have a weight limit/tire size limit?

@ewxlt66 - The Wilco website says the Solo has an available mounting option for a Hi-Lift Jack but they don't show pictures of that option. Is it available and where would it go?

This could be the answer to my spare tire/gas can/Hi-lift woes, without spending a fortune on a plate bumper with swing out.

Is the main reason for this is because your bigger spare tire doesn't fit under your truck? And the swing out so you can still lower the tailgate obviously.

    Seriously looking into this.

When you get a chance can you measure the distance between the hitch hole and the trailing edge of your bumper? I need to make sure this clears my bike rack and my portable winch carrier.

    see attached with arrows.

$499...it's probably blocked at work because the price is so low it's almost illegal.

I can't see the arrows when I open the file, but there are two holes available in the receiver shaft of the Solo, and they are about 1.25" apart. Not sure which of the two Unchained is using. I can give you more specific measurements if you need them.

He's right...on the way. It will have the option to mount a Rotopax above the 2 bushing holes and a hi-lift below them, with the appropriate mounting plates.SOLO proto 1.jpg
