Hi Guys,

First name is Corey.

Been on the forums for about a little over a year. I have found a lot of good information about doing mods to my truck and I try to pay back my fair share! Finally got around to making a build thread after I've done a good bit of mods to my 2016 Access Cab. I purchased the truck October 10th 2016. At the dealership I had them swap out the silly 245/75/16's for my 265/75/16's that I had on my previous 2013 Access Cab. I've gotten a lot of compliments (PM's) from forum members about all the help I've been with my write up's on my mods, glad I could help some members out!

Nice build. I like the idea of the quick oil drain valve but I would be nervous of smashing it when wheeling.

 

I have one of those make sure to get the little black locking clip for it

Moe, did you notice any difference when you installed the AFE pro dry intake?

 

Ya defiantly helps starting out on hills. And the sound is nice! A tad more mpg also!

 

Ok just wondering, because I've read so many posts that these cold air intakes don't work and that the stock one is fine. I've thought about just putting in a afe pro dry filter and thats it w/ cutting out the secondary. Price is kinda holding me back, but I'll see

Glad you finally got a build thread together man! We basically have the same truck so most of your mods are on my list to do at some point. Glad they are now in a single handy spot to reference. Slick looking truck by the way!

 

Thanks man, not looking to install a air compressor, maybe in the future but for now I'm just going to put both air lines together and use my 12v vair pump to fill them up if im out hauling something!

Any plans to change up the exhaust set up or muffler swap? I've read headers will wake up the 2.7

 

Possibly in the future maybe a AFE exhaust!

 

How did the taller and wider tires affect your mileage? And the drivability? I get about 20 all around and 22 ot 75 mph on the highway.
