I know I asked a few times but ill ask again. Im looking to swap out my 5100s with new replacement ones and change back to stock UCAs. Anyone able to help? I have a garage but not all the tools. If anyone wants the Light Racing UCAs they are free if you want to help me with the swap. Would love the help!

I did my struts in my driveway over Christmas, you may have seen the truck on jack stands? I took the better part of a week to get it done, but really could have done it much faster. I needed to rent a ball joint puller from Canadian Tire, and I took the struts to the CFB Halifax Auto Club to use the spring compressor, but I have everything else in my tool box. I have never done UCAs.

I would love to help. I'll be moving (to Cole Harbour) this weekend, and working a couple in May. I might have a few Mondays off though.

It was mostly just basic wrenches and sockets if I remember right. Also liquid wrench.

For the spring compressor, I can bring your struts to the Auto Club to take them apart and reassemble with the new shocks if you need. That doesn't take long.

I think there is a pretty good step by step on here somewhere...

I hear that! The struts should easily be a one day job. Not sure about the UCAs.

Im thinking about going with the stock UCAs but I wasnt sure about if they would be able to align it correctly or not. Considering taking the 1/2 +1/4 " spacers off the drivers and passenger side, then just putting the 1/4" on the drivers side. So 1/4" less each side and likely 1/2" less lift

Not sure if this is a good place for this but I am looking for a second set of 17" wheels for my 2016 Taco to put my winters on. Anyone unload the stock wheels for custom ones that I could buy?

I checked Kijiji, thanks. Not sure if older model wheels will fit on the 2016.

Sorry there, I thought I remembered seeing a set of TRD Sport rims. Maybe they sold, or my memory is just bad.

According to the internet, the bolt patter is the same. 6x139.7 with a center bore of 106mm.

So, a set of TRD Sport wheels would fit and keep your rim size (17 inch) the same. The only thing about 16's is whether or not you'll have caliper to rim clearance issues.

If you're local to HRM, I have a set of 16's you could try to fit over your caliper. However, they're 285/75/16 so you probably wouldn't be able to drive around.
