    Welcome to TW.

    I dont think there is a write up on how to do it, but its a pretty straight forward venture. Use a little bit of anti sieze on the threads of the new plugs, and do not torque them past 15 ft-lbs. Also, use the OEM twin ground electrode plugs. Both sides gapped to .040"

    Thanks , Just a bit confused as to why that bridge has to run right over the top of the plugs.

    If you are talking about that bracket, it can be removed. I think there are (2) 12mm bolts holding it. you remove the top one, and loosen the bottom one, and you can move it out of the way.

    right side of engine directly over the plugs is a something you might call a "Maintenence Inhibitor" I will take a picture and attach it to the thread . Thanks

    I'm looking at getting new plugs, too. I know Chris is an advocate for stock plugs, and I've looked around the net at TTORA and TW and google and concluded that anything besides oem ignition stuff is basically a waste of money unless you're s/c'ed.

    So I should get the Denso Iridiums like these IK20's?

    If Autozone has 'em I'm gonna head down there to get my friends and family 20% discount!

    On my 2000 2.7, I ran the OEM plugs ( Non iridium), and had good results. I didnt get the Iridium plugs until I SC'ed.

    Just looked at my Haynes. It lists either:
    Denso K16R-U
    NGK BKR5EYA

    So...go for the Denso's K16R-U's/the iridium IK20's, or the NGK's

    OR

    It doesn't really matter at all, you're giving me a headache with all these choices just get whatever.
