I'd love a 2 car garage. Heck I'd settle for an attached garage...

It was mandatory in everything I looked at. There was one place that had a single attached, and a 30 bby 30 garage in teh back yard..but the house was pretty dated. But damn did I want it.

Yeah I ended up in a "condo" apartment for budget reasons at the time.

    BozAngeles FTW...

I wish I was staying in my company provided place. Free rent, no utilities to pay, free wifi...no garage tho but damn its nice. But teh gf is moving down in a few weeks so I have to get an actual place.

    HELLO ALL,

I've come seeking advice from the people of my future living place. (I'll be going to college in Bozeman next year).

Now, my dilemma lies with the type of light bar to put on my roof rack. I have an access cab, silver, taco and I recently got some INNO roof racks and built a sort of low profile basket off them. In fact, I was basing my design of the Prinsu racks... just without the drilling into the roof.

Option 1: a 41" single row LED light bar mounted below the rack.. very close to the roof.

Option 2: a 42" double row, curved LED light bar mounted slightly in front of the rack.

I know this seems like a somewhat arbitrary and a "whatever you want dude" question.... but I want opinions on if you all think a double row curved bar is gaudy and to much... or if anyone has experience with a single row bar and that it isn't enough lights.

    Thanks!!

 from Bozeman also. Keep an eye out for me and Runner when you get here.

And @memario1214 is our pseudo-resident lighting guru so maybe he can help with the light question.

Rob, take a look at some of MTgirl's MT photographs and you will have the answer to your question.

What is your goal for the light bar? Will you be running this alongside stock headlights?

I am planning on doing a lot of camping and such in MT and I would just like extra light brighten up my surroundings. I do have stock headlights.

Nice thing about MT is that it is daylight here until very late during the summer. They might be useful in the fall. I would go with simple and less expensive as you're likely going to use them less than you'd expect here.

I'll keep an eye out!! Thanks for the advice... I think I'll go with a little single row bar that I can sneak under the rack.

Good thinking.. Right now it is 8pm and the sun hasn't quite set. I'd feel comfortable without additional light for at least another hour and a half (sunset is 8:45 today) Around the summer solstice I think sunset us around 9:30 with good light until 10:45
