    Nice write up. Looks very good too.
    I have a Cobra 19 Ultra III, I just place it on the dash for now, but I really like your idea. May use it in the future when I'm not in the middle of moving.

    Just ordered my Relentless hood mount, 2' Firestick II, Firering cable with stud and heavy-duty spring! Thanks very much for this write-up! Now just have to get my dad to find one of the two CB radios he has somewhere from before I was born!!

    Where did the positive And negative run to on the CB? What was used to connect wires to CB

    I have an accessory fuse/relay box, ground bar and circuit breaker in the engine compartment I have everything connected too, including all my lights. I ran positive and ground under the console and into my engine compartment. :D

    Hey guys so I did this install minus the mic thing which I'll prolly do.
    Question tho, what did you guys use to hold all the stuff that used to be in there? I bought a sweet tub thing but it's 1/4 too wide but was perfect height.
