Currently sitting at 23.75" hub to fender and want to move it down to 22.75-23" how many turns roughly will it take to lower the icons?

Enough turns to bring it down to where you want.

I would do it a turn at a time. One full revolution, check where you're at...do it again till you get where you want it

    never ending..
Actually the top hats were probably already cracked and then the impact finished the bucket. Both my top hats were broken in half like that but I caught it before something like that happened. Icon changed the materials used in the top hats because it was a major issue

AHHHHHH! Change those shafts out asap, man. All that rust on the shaft is gonna wreck your seals and make you leak oil like crazy.

Thanks man. I was out there for the Joshua tree music festival so I didn't get to wheel that much but the rear felt so much better with the rebuilt leaf pack . One of my cv boots ripped though so gotta take care of that now and finish up the rear brakes

Damn, I miss SoCal. Sounds like fun. How'd the CV boot rip? Do you have limit straps up front for the mid travel? I'm bout to order King 2.5s front and rear with j66s when I move back to the mainland and was wondering about the front CVs

I'm looking for a good engine cross brace that would strengthen the coilover buckets and gusseting the motor mounts. I've seen a few mentions of DMZ, but their site doesn't seem to mention these products. Any other recommendations?

Because there isnt one formula for making a brace cause all trucks will be different Tim doesn't offer the brace on the site.

Here are some pre fabbed top brackets to start the process

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...k-bucket-top-engine-crossover-bracket.403816/

I know there is a guy on here somewhere that does gussets for motor mounts for 1st gens but im not sure if he does 2nd gen. Youre going to have to use the search feature on that one.

The shock hoop and cross brace will probably be best if you had them fabricated to work with your build. I know that Pelfrey and TC used to make a shock hoop but im not sure if they still do.

That should get you started until one of the guys thats done it comments.
