The Corolla was a rental car. I haven't contacted the insurance yet to get the process started to get it fixed. Going to need new headlight, fender with the works and there is a small scuff on the wheel so getting a new one of them and also a small scrap on the bottom of the grill so make it a new one as well.

This made a huge difference. Even though they aren't going through the crossovers and are still being powered through the factory amp... Holy high notes batman!

P.s. I made a thread for anyone who's following along on here.

Finally got around to dipping the badges. Also added a TRD Badge to the back!

So last week, a couple of days ago I can't remember, I posted a picture of my trucks rear bumper and the damage ensued on it from some jacka$$ who ran into it in a local parking lot. I received some help from another forum on here by user mxwrench which guided me through the general gist of it all. Make sure you visit this page and look at post #22 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/16-tacoma-bumper-cap-removal.404082/ . This url will help you out if you would like to remove the bumper caps or the center piece. And yes, I have a TRD Off-Road package with the sensors and the removal is simple. I just removed my bumper assembly today to tend to my left bumper pods with the sonar sensor. It was not that hard, however it took some time to dismantle at first due to myself not wanting to destroy any plastics or anything. Everything came off pretty easily, just be super careful. There were a few instances where I almost got ahead of myself but I slowed down. Disassembly took 45 minutes. Reassembly took literally 5 minutes. It was a joke. The longest part was putting back all of the push tabs. Otherwise cake. If you have any questions as to how I did this, send me a PM or something along those lines and I will be glad to assist. Looking into either touch up paint or plasti-dip for some of the scuffs. Still debating.

You definitely need a buddy to help with the install. YouTube search "Total Chaos UCA Prep" and it walks you through it. Pretty easy to do if you're used to working on trucks. The control arms were the hardest part, the coilovers just slid right in.

We have all heard about the Transmission Fluid issue with the Tacoma's. I had frustrations with the way mine was driving as well. I felt I had to drive everywhere with ECT just to have what I would consider a normal drive experience. The truck would wait too long to downshift and when it did it wasn't a quick transition. Shifting through the gears was also a little overly noticeable. I love my truck but this was a frustration of mine that bothered me significantly.

I took my truck in and had the transmission fluid checked and sure enough it was a whole quart low. Doesn't seem like much when the tans holds something like 15 quarts or so. After getting my truck back it feels like a new truck, no more laggy gear finding and the shifting is seamless and much quicker. I havent had the need to even touch the ECT button. Apparently Toyota had an issue with a large number of trucks not having the full amount of Trans Fluid.

Before anyone else makes a rash decisions of getting rid of your awesome Gen3, please get the tans looked at. I hope it helps. There are separate threads for this issue as well if you want to read up.

That's one of the deeper ones goes all the way across the light and the fender flares show all of the marks.

Thanks for the info. Fortunately I have access to a diesel shop & 3 mechanics. I'm sure I could pay one on the side to help me out.

    Here you go!

    http://m.ebay.com/itm/331616434951

It is the OEM Tundra TRD Pro badge. I liked this one the most of all the TRD badges, it is the cleanest. Don't know what I am gonna do with the Pro part of the badge though...

Can you point me to the drivers side kick panel part #? I just spent 20 min on that site trying to find it. Broke a mount on the driver's side kick panel removing it to wire my light bar.
