Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
So let me know how I did. Some people love the Quicksand. Some hate it. I ordered it w tech package and a 6 speed manual. I added 17" TRD Pro wheels, BFG TKO2 265/70/17 tires, tinted the front windows to match the rears, upgraded the factory stereo, adding a Alpine powered sub and a small amp to run the factory OEM speakers and factory OEM head unit (Entune). It honestly sounds much better than the JBL option and it cost me $650. I had the grille painted black, leaving a small amount of chrome to match the small amount of chrome on the trim. I had the stamped tailgate TACOMA done in matte black. I also added some window guards. I think she's a keeper. Especially with that manual 6 speed transmission. Just thought I'd share. Kinda proud of my work and how she came out...

She's awesome! Love this color personally. But she's far from done if you don't log out and delete this account IMHO

Nice looking truck man, wondering what alpine head unit you put in it and you got any pictures of it in the dash. Looking to upgrade my factory head unit here sometime!

There is a thread that explains everything I did, model numbers of the amp, etc...the sound is incredible.

Awesome man! I was under the impression you upgraded the whole head unit and not just added a sub. I got a base SR with the 6" Touch screen Radio and I'm probably going to be putting either a 6 or 7 inch Navi head unit in!

Lol I like to keep a vehicle as stock-looking as possible...just a few mods that the factory should have done originally...

    Beautiful truck!

Inferno and Quicksand are the best colors imho for the 2016. Cement for the 2017 will be next gorgeous color.
Love your wheels, best wheels for the 3rd gen.

Of course 3 pedal MT + 4x4 just makes it sexy. Any interior shots? We know the real beauty is on the inside :)

Only thing I would change is remove the "v6" badge in the rear. I feel it throws off the color scheme.

Thanks!! I agree. Love both those 2016 colors. I'm not sold on the cement for 2017, but sometimes that changes over time once you see enough of them. I'll post some interior shots later today. Love how the manual tranny looks. I also was not a fan of that push button start and having a key fob as part of the automatic transmission package. Annoying to say the least...

Here's the details on the stereo...and I stayed with factory OEM speakers and the factory Entune head unit (Non-JBL)/ The sound is impressive. Much better than the JBL system that you can get as an option. The sub fits right behind the driver's side rear seat...

Looks great but don't call it quits on it yet. Thats a 4x4 and it wants a new suspension,UCA and bigger tires. Smart move on the manual tranny. Auto sucks and from what I hear the 3rd gen auto is the worst.

It is pretty interesting, but my non scientific poll suggests people who love the Inferno also love the Quicksand. Lot of us people seem to be going back and forth on that.

Cant wait to see interior shots!

Agree with @jsinnard OEM roof rack looks gorgeous
