Anyone going to jugfest this weekend? Just wanted to meet up with any tacos heading out. I haven't been in the taco game lately.

Last week I went to the dealership to get some fluids flushed because I'm at 100k... They asked me about the racall for the rear leaf springs but I told them I'm probably not eligible since I have the overload spring removed and installed an add-a-leaf and shims. The service guy said he will take a look anyway. When I came to pick up the truck he told me he went ahead and ordered the new springs. Really surprised me since I know they don't normally like touching modified stuff... So for any of you guys that might be modified and think they may not be eligible, you may still be able to get some new springs. Btw, I went to Freeway Toyota in Hanford.

Yeah, we've done quite a few on stock springs, but none that have an add a leaf or anything like that. Just be aware that they may want to charge you to swap the AAL to the new pack. The job doesn't pay well as it is, and I for sure wouldn't want to take apart the leafs for the same amount of warranty labor time. We haven't run into this yet, but we shall see when one does come in with an AAL.

We shall see what happens when the springs come in. But I'm betting you are right. I'll probably have to reinstall the AAL myself after the warranty work is done.

Thank you, no I couldn't fork up the dough for one yet. Lol. I took them to get bent by quality muffler on main. At $2 a bend, I was sold.

    It's 2" round x .125 wall.
