Those topics have actually come up a few times in the last month or so. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/colorado-b-s-thread.131441/page-4354#post-12252984 and https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/colorado-b-s-thread.131441/page-4475#post-12446971 are my last posts on the topic, which quote/lead to other people's. Basically you have to figure out where you're going to mount it before you can choose a mount. You also have to decide whip or pole, which is somewhat related to the mount.

The only local shop I've even been to is here up north at the Johnstown exit. And I'm not even sure they're still there. It's early enough in the week you should be able to get 2 day from Amazon though. The place @Ag63i2 mentioned sounds familiar, so I think it gets mentioned a lot.

You'll also need to tune it, so that means finding someone with an SWR meter, getting a radio with one built in, or buying one yourself. Post up here and you'll usually get at least five people volunteering to help.

@WJeeper @3378jakesr5 - is the black truck still together, or have you pushed it off the rock at Top Of The World?

Not sure if you have already found something but I have that same Uniden. It works well, but for the money, HAM is 100x better. I have a ham and hate using the CB, so I may just get a handheld CB for the rare times I have to use it and have a little less crap in the center console.

I have that Uniden CB, a coax from it going up to one of the relentless (i think) hood hinge mounts, a HD spring, stainless steel quick release, mic extension cable and a 4 foot black firestik if you were interested.

I've probably seen your truck up there. I saw a REAL nice one rolling through that area today. I think it was white with halo DRL's, had a nice looking rear camper/flippac situation going on!

I killed 2 rock light wires with my tires apparently. When i filled up i noticed wires hanging. I killed the cable for back up camera but thats what you get when you leave it hanging :cookiemonster:

Scraches on the lowers, skids, and rear drive shaft.

Bent a wheel on the inside rear tire on the truck and the trailer tire on two diffrent occasions and used
Mjölnir to pound them both back. :muscleflexing:

    Thats about it.
