A/C and Fan Speed Selection is working... but the Air Selection Dial doesn't.

Also, the A/C light works... but the Air Recirculated button doesn't.

Currently only blows Cool Air or Hot through the front window defroster.

Is it a Fuse or a bad Relay?

    Any help would be great.

Trying to avoid going to the Stealership.

    Thanks!

I'm sure someone with a 2nd gen will chime in with the fix but you might check the blend door motor. It should be to the left of the glovebox behind dash. Sometimes you can tap on it and it'll switch between selections, if it's going bad it'll hang up. I had an 05 4runner that did that.

Any chance this could be on the passenger side now for 2012? I found a similar setup but it's under the glove department. Seems to be the same pain in the ass screws.

Yeah on 2012 it's on the passenger side. Might have grabbed the wrong thread.

Seems like the part has been upgraded from the previous thread.
Looks more like a computer chip now. Hard to tell if it's damaged or blown.
Ordering a new one tomorrow and hope it works! Fingers crossed.

    Thanks again!

Did you try just plugging it back in and turning it on? Worked for me, and been running good the last 4 months. Just saying.

No luck on the new blower resistor.

Any other options I should try?

Is there a blower relay I should try to swap?

I feel like Toyota is winning the battle.
