The calipers were relatively easy, surprisingly you don't have to remove them ( even per Por 15's rec) just brush off any loose rust and make sure they are free of grease. Por 15 sells a kit with some cleaner but I just used degreaser and alcohol. used a cheap brush to brush it on, about 15-20 minutes a side. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-POR-15-...:g:IbwAAOSwtJZXUcNe&item=350870094577&vxp=mtr is what I bought, there's enough to do at least 4 calipers

I looked through that thread and noticed that it says there will only be one breather under the hood for manual transmission Tacos. I definitely have 2. One is obviously the front diff, but is the other trans or t case? Maybe I should consult my owner's manual...

I generally avoid deep water, but one never knows where one will end up.

I used an old Starbuck's gift card. Not a fisherman so I didn't have any line laying around. The card worked perfectly. Five minutes and I had them all off. Just slid it behind the letters and used a sawing motion and they came right off.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Anyone looking to do this, please don't use the rest of the paint to paint the rear brake drums.

Front brake calipers paint red = looks good.
Rear brake drums painted red = looks like a terrible old rusty corolla with a lot of Autozone stick-on chrome pieces added on.

Hahahaha awesome! I'm glad you're stoked!! Thanks for you support man. I hope they serve you well. Once you get the hi lift mounts installed post a pic up on my fab thread. Thanks dude. And that paint looks like PC but it's just this awesome industrial spray paint that I use. I only see this paint at the 2 metal shops that I go to for material. Never see it any hardware store near me.
