I swapped my springs and shocks, flipped my u-bolts, and installed timbrens with zero knowledge of what I was doing before hand. The worst part was breaking my rusted u-bolts loose with a mini sledge hammer and a wrench.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I didn't do anything special to line stuff up...just got it close to where the old marks on the axle were and tightened everything down.

Officially 37 ft/lbs I believe. I've heard this is a misprint and it doesn't make sense.

I tightened mine to 80 ft/lbs they first time the started loosening up. Worked fine.

I just had the recall done. About 1/2" higher now. Yesterday we loaded over 600 pounds of furniture into the bed and never bottomed out. Truck did NOT look like it had 2 tons of lead in the rear either, looked pretty normal loaded. Don't notice any extra roughness when unloaded either, just a bit more firmness. So far it seems to be a "win".

BTW, as a bonus, I have been driving for a week now and the infamous axle wrap "bump" at stop lights is totally gone. So far.

Just took mine in for the inspection. Took an hour and a half just to have it looked at. They said it would take 10 to 14 days to get the new leaf packs in since they have to order them.

Hah, I drove 35 minutes to the dealership, he squatted and looked for about 10 seconds and said he would order them. He also said it would take 3-4 weeks because the mounting hardware is on backorder...

Yeah I expected them to squat down, look at them and tell me to come back when they come in. What a racket to wait that long for a 10 second job.

Got a call back from Toyota that apparently my coolant reservoir is completely empty and my water pump is leaking horribly and they recommend I fix it right now while the trucks in their shop. Haha funny thing is I just checked the other day and I was a little under the full line.

Just picked up my truck. Didn't measure any difference in height but the new springs look a lot better. Didn't have any issues on dealing with them reinstalling my air bags.

    I'm pleased

Based on the waits and out of this or that, I guess when I roll in to let them see I already have the 6 clip 4 leaf pack and ask for the reimbursement form they'll tell me they're out of the forms.

Took my truck to the toyota dealer here in Clarksville TN. Took them about 5 min to inspect my truck. Parts are on order. I will take pics before and after. I have a short bed with a ARE Z topper.
