    First night out was awesome.

    Tent performed amazing.

It basically got rained on for 15 hours and stayed as dry as a tent could.

There was some condensation inside along the walls, but for 15 hours of rain and sleeping.

Thats damn good in my opinion. I just took a small rag and wiped it down, and it was completely dry after that.

Took it up to a high mountain lake via dirt trail with family and caught a bunch of Arctic Grayling...which was a first for all of us. Even the little ones were able to cast and reel in a few fish without help...all in all a great day and the truck ran great! It was nice to not here the clunking from the sway bar end links I finally replaced a few months ago!

For the past 2 weeks I've been battling a bird (I believe it's a robin) who likes to land on the corners of my rear bumper and shit all over the ground around the back of my truck and all over the corners of my bumper. Cleaning up bird shit every day was getting old, especially on the textured surface of the bumper. I've thought long and hard about loading my Taurus judge with some bird shot but I'm sure my neighbors wouldn't appreciate that so I came up with this simple mod that seems to be working for now.

why not put fly paper instead? nothing strong obviously. just enough to scare the bejeesus out of him. I had a run-in with a bird. he woiuld always swoop down and flap peoples heads that would walk next to the street light he had a nest on. funnier than hell to watch. he did it to me 3 times. the third time I almost cought him in my hand. my work had glass all over the front and I could see him swooping towards me in the reflection. so the last time I saw him and waited for him to get close enough then spun around and swiped at him. didn't hit him, just scared him. never tried to do that again to anyone from there on out.

Know my luck the fly paper would end up against my truck and then I would have to clean that off as well.

I'd actually just set a primitive stick trap and let that take its course. I've seen survival shows, makes me an instant expert on trapping and tracking.
