Took a little work but not hard at all too mount under the factory trifold. The seals seem to have raised slightly the whole way around from the brackets. Supposed to rain on Tuesday so I'll get a better idea if it really affects water intrusion. It looked like with lower side caps on the bed it would be perfect.

That's always the way of it. I had to pressure wash the patio before I was "allowed" to wash my truck. Haha. Happy wife happy life.

Well I bought my Tacoma on the 10th. 2016 Inferno TRD Sport. I drove it off the lot with 27 miles. I have put about 100 miles on it since. I love everything about it. I have installed my dash cam and my child's car seat lol. I hope to do a lot more soon. Will keep you posted. Thanks!!!

The pulsing module I installed is the Pulse Protects product. It is not as some might claim a few resistors. To be 50 state DOT legal it must meet some stringent criteria, it cannot flash it can only pulse, if it fails for whatever reason the CHMSL must still function as normal, it cannot pulse more than 4 times within a prescribed time limit, it cannot continuously pulse in heavy traffic and therefore has a lockout which prevents pulsing until 5 seconds have passed since the brakes were initially applied. I can tell you this, it certainly catches the attention of drivers behind you which is precisely what I was looking for. On the 3rd gen it is a very simple 5 minute install.

That makes sense bud! We dont normally get hit too hard by hurricanes here. Knock on wood. Born and raised here and ONCE we were hit hard enough that a couple trees came out the ground 20 minutes from our home. I live in between 2 small towns, both with populations of around 1000 people. 3 gas stations in one of them, and about the same in the other, i have never had to wait for a pump. But that is a good practice, better safe than sorry!!

How did you get it? And how did you get to install it? Just curious, It says on their page they dont sell to consumers and it has to be installed by a trained technician.

Also what did it cost if you dont mind sharing?

Mounted the CVT on the new and improved mid height @KB Voodoo bed rack. So far, so good!

Also mounted up the Relentless Fab HiLift bed mounts to keep it tucked out of the way. Awning goes on next, followed by the dual battery install courtesy of OffGrid Engineering.

Nice truck! What kind of light bar do you have in the bed? Is it attached to the rails or bed?
    Thanks

Got bored and painted the factory skid, plugged the control arms, plugged the drilled holes where the front plate bracket was mounted, dipped the grill and ran power to the Gopro.

Got my Tepui awning in over the weekend. Built some mounts out of the L brackets and conduit hanger to fit round Yakima bars. Question I have for anyone with an awning is do you really trust these little M6 bolts slid into the channels on the awning? Seems like a lot hanging on 4 little bolt heads.
