I installed the Pulse Protects module. Being new here I'd prefer not to create waves however some of the replies to my "What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?" post are uninformed. In an attempt to clear things up a bit I'll share this, in the event you're involved in an accident, one involving serious property damage, bodily injury or death the LE accident investigators and attorneys will have the vehicles involved torn apart to determine if ANY modification/s may have contributed. If someone wants to accept that risk using a cheap, untested, not patented or possibly illegal component by all means have at it, your loss not mine.

I do know that NO state or the Feds allows a CHMSL to flash meaning the power is turned off then on again to create the flash effect. My module only pulses at no time is the power to the bulbs turned off. If a cheap module fails will the CHMSL still operate normally? In Florida a non-working CHMSL is a, non-negotiable, do not pass go, do not collect $200 you will pay $116 to the state on top of cost to repair then have to prove you actually did the repair. Your money do as you please.

Have the cheap modules been tested, do they come with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty? Probably not, more like a 30/30 warranty, 30 seconds after purchase and/or 30 feet from the register you paid at.

Also, some states including Florida strictly prohibit red or blue flashing lights front, side or rear on any vehicle except emergency vehicles. Maybe not today, tomorrow or even this year but you risk having an informed LEO pull up behind you and notice your flashing red light then all of the sudden you've got a problem.

In summary, do what you want, wish or will with your own money and vehicle accepting any and all possible outcomes good and bad. Me, I'd rather play it safe while trying to be safer and have no issue paying for a quality, tested product. To do otherwise is like religiously going to the gym and exercising but eating only fast/junk food, it makes no sense at all, there's zero logic in that thought process.

Yes, I installed the Pulse Protects module!

Seems about right with the lift and larger tires. My brother in law went from 18mpg to 14mpg after a lift and larger tires in his chevy, Not hard to lose 4mpg once you start modding.

Also, i have the 2WD truck. From all the numbers posted it seems the 4X4 get a little less on average out the gate.

Honestly, ill trade mpg with you if you give me your 4X4 with lift and tires :D

Damn i like that! The guard and the wrap.

The wrap turned out great, was this your first go at it? From the pictures it looks like you have some experience.

Working for a foreign owned manufacturing company for 37 years we know all businesses are here to make a profit, not to satisfy the US work force. It's not you dad's old company. If corporate taxes were lower it would be more attractive, it tariffs on imports were higher than more would create more favorable plants in the US. We compete every day with Mexico for manufacturing jobs and when you can make something in Mexico for less including shipping/transportation it is hard to compete. Electronics left us forever many years ago lets hope we can be more competitive elsewhere. The only hope we have is lean manufacturing and don't misunderstand the meaning, it does not more output with less labor, it means eliminate the waste to be more productive. It is the Toyota way for decades, we in the US have just recently embraced it over the last decade.

The amount of people I see on a daily basis driving around with no brake lights whatsoever.... I'll take the chance on my little flasher unit. Had one on the motorcycle for a year with plenty of cops behind me in that time and no one has even blinked an eye at it.

Also you state that flashing red lights on the rear is illegal, you note Florida, have you seen that new Chevy's and Kia's come with them as standard from the dealer now?

So, where did you get it and, if you don't mind, how much did it cost?

    A few minor things...
What did you use for a switch panel? I'm looking to do the same thing as you and I don't like the CaliRaised one that has bolts showing.

I've only had my truck for about three weeks and it's never averaged over 20 before the lift! I only went up one tire size and drive pretty normal. I hear that most people are getting better gas mileage after they put more miles on their trucks?
I also heard you could reset something in your setting to adjust for the different tire size??

Works fine, don't worry :) A friend has a 6' ARB awning on his truck for several years, lots of off road, no problems.

SoFlaTacoTRD - Nice oration, but just a little flawed. Web Electric Products is a Florida
company that provides a Lifetime Warranty on all their products. "All products are 100% tested and inspected before they are shipped, and come with a full-replacement, lifetime warranty. . ."
You can spend your money any way you wish, but for me the Web Electric Products Brake
Light pulser (BLP-1) for $35.00 is the way to go. Look them up, they are a legitimate Florida
corporation, registered with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. They
have been in business since September 17, 2012. I am confident that as strict as you say
FLA law/business enforcement is, that they have been tested and are still in business. Scare
    tactics don't work here!

Ya I'm defiantly going to run these new tires out and if they don't look that bad I may just keep running 32's cause there is way more selection of tire sizes and you got a good point once you get bigger on the tires the lack of power will get more noticeable. Believe it on not my little 4 banger pulls these tires and wheels pretty well. Even with a 2500# trailer behind it! I was surprised!
