In CA it's $50 for the initial upgrade and $40/year thereafter.

Finally got to try them. Dims worked great! The fogs I'm not sure about. Either I installed them wrong if it's possible or they need a projector housing. They just throw light everywhere....

I already have personalized plates, so the problem I'm having when I try to order them online is that it tells me my plate is already in use. AAA said I had to deal directly with DMV to get them switched to legacy, and ain't nobody got time for that.

Installed new LED lights for my low beams. They seem brighter. But I think I need to tilt them up a bit. Top pic is the old halogen low beams bottom are the new LEDs

I've got the stock springs with the 5100's set at 1.75 and I love it! I haven't upgraded my tires from the stock off roaders though. In my opinion the stock springs will do you just fine unless you do some tough stuff. I've put mine through a lot and they've done great! I put a 2" AAL in the back as well.

Big day for Fernie today. Picked up and installed my truxedo tailgate seal, pop'n'lock tail gate lock, and lund 5'' oval nerf bars. All of it is awesome. Only complaint about the lock is that it is slightly louder than expected. For the convenience it's definately not a deal breaker, but have to do some poking around here to find how to dampen it a bit if it's an easy job. Bars are great. Stick out just the right amount past the crown of the door. When I get out my legs seem to brush them but that's cause I'm trying to over step them. If I step on the steps its fine, just take some getting used to. Could have gone smaller but didn't want anything smaller than 5''. And I painted my tool box lid black from yellow (no pic yet). Looks good but I don't think it will last. Already scratching. May try dipping it eventually.

Got my other slider from @Mobtown Offroad put on tonight, after getting a replacement part from them. Great service from these guys, love these sliders!

Also, the $20 creeper from Harbor Freight was a godsend. Highly recommend getting one if you're gonna be under the truck for anything.

Can you post a few pictures of your lift? I have been thinking about doing the same thing. How much stiffer is the ride over stock?

I don't feel any significant difference in the ride. The 5100s are great! This one is with stock wheels and tires. 2" AAL in rear, front set to 1.75.

This one is with aftermarket wheels, same stock tires though.

The first picture was minutes after installation, so the rear hadn't quite settled yet. The second picture is what it looks like settled.

I see what you mean. I'll lay everything out when I get home to check it out. It looks like the kit I have starts closer to the catalytic converter than what's pictured.

They don't mention cutting in the book.

There was one other guy who posted an MBRP system that had two pipes going back to the muffler. I'm not clear how it connected to the factory pipes though as there's just one flange at the end of the y pipe that comes from the cats. Curious to see what you find out.
