Any rub on the stock suspension?

 

Shouldn't be with 265/70/17 KO2s. It's what I run on stock suspension - no issues through moderate offroading.

The huge chrome grill is really the only thing I don't like about my new truck, so my sincere thanks to @3dBdown for starting this thread and documenting his quality painting process. Last weekend I finally got around to painting my Sport grill black with MGM trim. I purchased the same products, followed his methods and the results turned out great. I am very pleased.

Thanks for posting before and after pix. After seeing these, I'm leaning towards keeping the chrome look.

 

I honestly couldn't stand the grill until I put my black wheels on, now I think it goes great with the colors.

 

Haha yup! I'm in the same boat, brother...I actually like the chrome grill better ;-)

 

Great that we all have options! Eventually we can get what we want.

 

So I bought some new bedside decals. Thought the stock silver/grey could be better. Went with a black/red since my tacoma emblems and the toyota on the grill are now red..... installed it today, didn't quite turn out right. I'm not going to say I don't like it. It's different, but looks off with the red. So what do u think?

 

Just got it home last week. Looking forward to playing with it this summer and customizing it.

Likely looking to put some nerf bars on it, gonna look at window tint options (and need a sun shade for the window), and wondering what to do about that chrome grille.

I'm a new owner of a MGM 2016 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Sport. I will be upgrading tires to the 265/70R17 BFG A/T KO's staying with the stock wheels for now. Possibly upgrading to some TRD wheels in the future. The question is do I put the raised white letters facing out or facing in? I was pretty much set on putting them in but after looking at lot's of pictures in the forum now I'm admittedly torn! Would appreciate others opinions!

is that a T-rex Grill? I just ordered one. Hope it looks as good on my truck as yours

 

thinking about getting some of those leather seats. Did you work with a dealer/installer, or put them on yourself?
